Introduction and Pre-Arrival
If you do
have any special needs please contact us before making a reservation so that we
can discuss your requirements together.
We are
happy to accommodate wheel chair users although all our bedrooms are on the
first floor, up a two flight stair case.
Our
modern family home is the first house in Chippenham on the Malmesbury Road –
close to the Golf Club.
The
gravel drive way does make for easy turning although small wheeled chairs may find
it difficult to manoeuvre.

are located on a main road with easy access by car.

The
nearest bus stop is 50yds away.
·
Nearest
supermarket is 100yds away.
·
Chippenham
railway station is 5 minutes by car, 15 minutes on foot.
·
There
are many local taxi firms and we are happy to pre-book taxis for you.
·
We
do not accept pets.

On arrival at the front of the hotel
Our front
door is at the western end of the drive way – this gently slopes down to a
covered porch – the access is lit by sensor lights at night
There is
a doorbell by the front door. The front door is not automated.
We
provide enough car parking space for one medium sized car per guest room.
The
car park is on a gentle gradient and has a gravel surface. At night sensor
lights are in operation which will cover the car park and the path to the front
door.
The
back door is reached via a path approximately 25 metres long which passes into our
back garden.
During
the warmer months we are happy to encourage guests to sit outside.

Access
to the house for guests is only by the front door, this is raised from the
ground by a 4 inch step.
·
We
offer assistance with luggage. Please note that guests may have to wait
for assistance with particularly heavy items as not all members of staff can
safely manage heavy lifting.

We
are entirely non-smoking.
·
We
welcome assistance dogs by prior arrangement.
·
The
hotel has no literature in Braille.
·
We
are happy to keep medication refrigerated for you.
·
WiFi
access is available.
·
Please
read the fire instruction notice in your room ( If you have any hearing
impairments please advise on arrival).

A
full Fire and Security System is in operation.
·
A
siren will ring continuously if evacuation is needed.
·
If
you require assistance for evacuating please notify us on arrival.
